Imagine getting the chance to play golf with Jason Bateman and Will Arnett, or have a Zoom chat with Bryan Cranston. How about visiting Ben Stiller on a Hollywood set? These once-in-a-lifetime experiences can become a reality, and the best part is that they also support our veterans. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have teamed up with Homes For Our Troops, an organization dedicated to raising funds for injured vets through an annual online auction. The lineup for this year’s auction is nothing short of incredible.
Jason Bateman and Will Arnett are offering fans the opportunity to bid on 18 holes of golf with them at the prestigious Bel-Air Country Club. Not only will winners get to enjoy a game with these talented actors, but they will also be supporting a great cause. On the other hand, Ben Stiller is providing a chance to join him on the set of his latest project, “Severance.” Imagine witnessing the magic of Hollywood firsthand, seeing your favorite stars in action, and gaining insight into the movie-making process.
The auction offers more than just incredible experiences with Hollywood stars. You could have lunch in NYC with Lou Diamond Phillips, the iconic actor known for his role in “La Bamba.” For book lovers, there’s a unique opportunity to have your name featured in the next novel by acclaimed author Michael Connelly. Or, if you’re a fan of Adam Sandler, you could score tickets to one of his shows and then have the chance to meet him in person.
If you’re a fan of memorabilia, this auction has plenty to offer. Signed items by Hollywood icons such as Jon Bon Jovi, Mark Hamill, and Chris Evans are up for grabs. Jon Bon Jovi is contributing an autographed guitar, Mark Hamill has signed a rare Luke Skywalker figurine, and Chris Evans is offering a personalized video message along with an autographed ‘Captain America’ shield and movie poster. Ryan Reynolds is also joining the cause with a rare, autographed Deadpool figurine. Additionally, Jennifer Aniston is fundraising with a Fendi bag from her personal collection, and Mindy Kaling’s dress worn to Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour show is also available for bidding. Wynonna Judd, the country music superstar, is generously donating an autographed guitar.
Sports fans can also be part of this incredible initiative. A basketball signed by the whole “Inside the NBA” crew, including Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, Charles Barkley, and Shaquille O’Neal, is one of the items up for auction. Additionally, there’s an NFL football signed by Peyton Manning and his Super Bowl champion teammates from the 2010 Indianapolis Colts.
It’s important to remember that all the proceeds from the auction go directly to Homes For Our Troops, an organization that builds and donates custom homes to post-9/11 veterans with severe wounds. This year marks the 7th year of the Veterans Day Celebrity Auction, and the bidding on eBay is set to open on Friday and run through November 13. So, don’t miss your chance to connect with your favorite Hollywood stars, own incredible memorabilia, and make a difference in the lives of our brave veterans.
